Senior Receptionist

Duties:

Our guests have come to expect a warm welcome from us. That's precisely what you'll be on hand to provide in this role. Your friendly, outgoing personality is certain to make the process of receiving and registering guests a pleasurable experience for everyone involved. Your excellent organisational skills will mean that the relevant documentation will be carried out efficiently.
Making full use of you're warm, friendly telephone manner and talent for organisation, you'll handle telephone as well as written enquiries promptly and efficiently - with the overall goal of maximising sales and room occupancy rates.

The ideal candidate:

At least 2 years reception experience within the hotel industry is essential, working with Opera is preferable.
Must be a confident individual with a smart appearance and fluent English.
Candidate must be willing to work days, evenings and weekends: shift work.

 

Bar Person

Duties:

• To present and serve all beverages and food in a friendly and professional manner
• To clean and maintain bars and storage areas
• To have a good knowledge of drinks served within the bar, i.e. to know what each drink being served looks like
• To ensure that all moneys being received from and given to the customer are correct.
• To be familiar with the way that drinks are served to customers.
• To have full product knowledge.
• To follow all operation procedures in regard to requisitioning stock and in recording wastage and spillage.
• To deal with customer complaints in an efficient and professional manner.
• To be responsible for ensuring that all cash, vouchers and credit card transactions are correctly completed, and charges are correctly placed.
• To provide customer feedback in a constructive manner to ensure foods on the menu are selling and are meeting the needs of the customer
• Carry out all duties as per the SOP manual.
• To follow proper opening and closing procedures for each type of shift.

 

Bar Supervisor 

Duties:

• To order via the Purchasing manager bar stock when necessary and to maintain adequate stock level in cellars and bars.
• To maintain tight security of bars and cellars.
• Carries out departmental induction for all new employees.
• To ensure requisition and wastage procedures are implemented and supervised
• Monitor daily time sheets and compile each employee’s hours into weekly department timesheet
• To maintain regular and effective communication within your team at all levels, by holding daily briefing sessions.
• To deal with customer complaints in an efficient and professional manner.
• To plan the labour resource effectively to meet the service criteria set for the department encompassing training, supervision and forecasting in line with the hotel business needs.
• To be responsible for ensuring that all cash, cheque and credit card transactions are correctly completed, and charges are correctly placed.
• To implement a control system whereby all dockets correspond with monies in the micros system, and to record any differences.
• To provide customer feedback in a constructive manner to ensure we are meeting the needs of the customer.
• To maintain:-
- Cost control
- Wage control
- Stock control.
• To implement proper opening and closing procedures for each type of shift
• Be vigilant in regard to security.
• To make sure all gift vouchers, room’s charges and company accounts are posted in the correct manner.
