The Tullamore Court Hotel are seeking an experienced conference supervisor to effectively assist in coordinating this very busy department. The ideal candidate will be very well presented, have a professional demeanour and have excellent communication and guest relations skills. A high level of interdepartmental coordination will be required as well as dealing with issues in real time as they arise or as client specifications change.
•To take control and responsibility during shifts.
•To manage all allocated functions & conferences in the hotel.
•To be responsible for all the day to day queries, complaints or problems that arise in the department.
•To ensure the highest level of customer care is practised at all times.
•Constant communication with sales and reception department to forecast future business and plan effectively
•To monitor the hotel function sheets and bookings on the reservation system and familiarise yourself with all additions and changes.
•Technically savvy with experience using laptops and conference equipment.
•Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with all staff
•Have a working knowledge of all hotel departments
•Come from a strong Hotel Background in 4*/5* Hotels
•2-3 Years Prior experience at a supervisory level.
•Calm under pressure and be able to deal with difficult situations as they arise with excellent problem solving skills
•Experience in Opera or its equivalent and Microsoft Office and a hotel qualification is strongly desired
•Have fluent English
