Walking Weekends

The Tullamore Court Hotel is thrilled to offer bespoke and scheduled walking weekends following on from the popularity of the scheduled events in 2010 & 2011.

Preliminary dates for 2012 are to be March 9th, 10th & 11th, April 20th 21st & 22nd and May 25th, 26th & 27th. Walks taking place on the Saturday and Sunday will be with local expert John Scully. Explore the immense natural beauty of one of Europe’s oldest mountain ranges the Slieve Blooms with experienced guides. From the gentle rolling hills, to secluded ancient forests, blanket bogs, captivating flora and fauna, to the striking views of the country’s central plain.  With experience to hand we can really bring the region alive and your senses will do the rest, the weekend can be tailored to suit walkers of all levels and tastes.

Notes: 

  • All walks begin at 11am.
  • Saturday’s Walks will be approximately 4 – 5 hours in length.
  • Sunday’s Walks will be approximately 3.5 hours in length.
  • A late checkout of 4.30pm has been arranged to allow for showering and changing on return to the hotel.
  • Walking boots, comfortable hiking clothing and rain gear are required.
  • Please bring a backpack, lunch will be provided by the hotel.

Price: from €165pps to include 2 nights B&B with dinner on one evening, 2 guided walks, return transfers from walking trails each day, 2 packed lunches and a late check out of 4.30pm on Sunday.
